I totally missed out!

I was so bummed Saturday when I couldn't make it to the dinner to meet so many of you. I had been fighting a bad sinus infection and my PCP gave me an antibiotic, which my lovely pouch decided to try and reject for a nice evening fun of heaving. NOT FUN!

Anyhoo, I don't know what this board was like before, and being that I come to OH daily... I just want to say thanks for making me feel welcome. I am almost 3 months post-op and life has been such a rollar coaster ride so far. It almost seems like everything is falling apart around me and I am trying my best to just focus on me for ONCE in my life!!!

I appreciate all the support and invites and connections that I have made here. I would like to offer the same to any newbies, pre-ops or still thinkers... I tend to tal****il someone tells me to Shut-up, so feel free to shoot me a message or response or question, and if I can't help you... I bet we will find someone on here who can!

Jess-welcome and sorry that we missed you Saturday night. Hope you can come to a breakfast group or another dinner event soon. Noone will tell you to shut up so don't worry about it-feel free to make comments or ask questions. There are alot of wise people on here that can really help with all aspects of weight loss. I wish you well on your journey!

And we totally missed out on getting to meet you!  I kept asking Liz if she had heard from you; we got stuck in traffic on the drive from Mesquite and thought maybe you had too!

There will be other times - if not soon, we'll just have to make a plan to meet maybe in Rockwall for lunch or something on the EAST SIDE of the metroplex!

I missed you Saturday night!! Let's try it again sometime soon!!!

Jess, darn, we did miss you! But I will tell you I am relieved to know that you in fact were not there, because I kept an eye out for you, and I felt bad thinking I didn't recognize you! LOL

We'd love to meet you soon! Like Jodi, said, lunch on the east side of the metroplex is doable. I'm in Garland.

I'm waaaayyyy north, but somewhat inbetween Dallas and Ft. Worth, so I might be able to do something on the East side too :)

BTW - my pouch HATES Mucinex, but it's the only thing that helps with my congestion from sinus infections, so I really do feel your pain.
